Vladimir London is a fine artist and art teacher. He is a member of the International Watercolor Society.

Together with our group of fine artists, Vladimir created Watercolor Academy for students like you. You will learn to paint with watercolor by watching the 80 video lessons and relying on personal support from the academy tutors.

Vladimir London is also a founder of the Drawing Academy, an online course in which you will learn how to draw whatever you see or imagine, and the Anatomy Master Class, which teaches how to draw human portraits and figures with full knowledge of human anatomy.

In the Life Drawing Academy, you can learn how to draw portraits and figures from life, memory, and imagination. In this academy, there two courses — the Online Course, in which you can learn figurative drawing, and the Correspondence Course, which offers one-on-one, personalized art tutoring.

Vladimir is an internationally published author of books on art, including Drawing in Perspective, which provides essential information on various types of perspective as well as its principles and application in art.

Another useful book by Vladimir is How to Draw a Portrait: The step-by-step guide on how to draw portraits in the three-quarters view. In this book, Vladimir shows the whole process of drawing a portrait, starting from a blank sheet of paper and explaining all important steps of portrait drawing. It reveals the proportions, alignments, and construction of a human head that every proficient artist must know. Both of these books are available on Amazon in digital and paper formats.

Vladimir works in various mediums, including oil, graphite pencil, silverpoint, and watercolor. His works of art have found homes in private collections across the world. Vladimir participates in various art exhibitions. For example, this artwork was exhibited in the International Art Exhibition in Spain. Natalie Richy - Watercolor Academy Tutor

Natalie Richy is one of the tutors here at Watercolor Academy. She is a professional fine artist who specializes in figurative painting. Her knowledge comes from extensive experience, beginning at the Latvian Academy of Arts and continuing through many years of research on the painting techniques of the Old Masters. She has participated in many art exhibitions in various countries, and her works are held in private collections worldwide.

Natalie is also a tutor at the Old Masters Academy, where she teaches the techniques of the Old Masters while using modern materials. This course has helped many art students raise their painting skills to the next level.

In the Life Drawing Academy, Natalie teaches by example, showing students how to draw human figures, demonstrating the necessary skills, and sharing her knowledge.

At the Watercolor Academy, Natalie Richy offers several very helpful tutorials on how to paint with a limited color palette. Even if you have not painted with watercolors before, you will be able to create realistic and believable portraits. She also provides personal support and tutoring to the academy's students. Ilya Ibryaev - Watercolor Academy tutor

"My name is Ilya Ibryaev, I am a professional watercolor painter from Moscow, Russia. I'm a member of both the Union of Russian Artists and the International Watercolor Society. My works of art have been shown in multiple exhibitions, biennales, and festivals, both in Russia and worldwide. I have received many awards for my work. The main watercolor technique I'm painting with is alla prima; it is when an artwork is done from the first attempt in full strength, which is an advanced and challenging way of painting both on dry and wet paper surface. Anna Ivanova - Watercolor Academy tutor

"Hello, my name is Anna Ivanova; I am a watercolor painter from Russia. I paint and draw since childhood and my formal art education started from the age of nine. The subjects I'm most interested in are ballet dancers, portraits and animals. I mostly paint in watercolor, but also in oils from time to time. I participated in numerous international art exhibitions and my watercolors have been awarded with top prices on several occasions. For example, I took the prize in one of the world's biggest art exhibitions in 2012 in Shanghai, China as well as received an award in another international watercolor exhibition in 2016; followed by the award of the watercolor competition in Taiwan.
