I purchased watercolor paints after I retired and tried to do a few things but realized the medium was very difficult for me. I did not have any watercolor painting skills or any art background at all, when I started the Watercolor Academy course.

I'm so glad I enrolled. I'm learning about the flow of water and I love the transparency of watercolor. I love watercolor now. I no longer rush or worry about the paint being too wet or too dry. I love the process of painting. I need to continue to learn.

I would highly recommend the Watercolor Academy course. It is well put together, the lessons are beautiful and very informative to watch, and there is text accompanying them which makes it easy to reference a concept. The lessons are rich in information and I can only hold a few concepts in my head while pairing so it is a developing skill. This course mets its goals, I can't really think of any better way of learning how to paint in the comfort of my home.

I wish to take the Drawing Academy course some time later, and perhaps I should have started with it prior to watercolor.
