Watercolor artwork and story by Wael

My first encounter with the pen when I was young, I grabbed it and began to write with it right and left without when I draw a known shape until my uncle, may God have mercy on him, noticed that and said to me, "Have I shown you how to draw a face." When I was young at that time, I still remember it, and I remember the way my uncle drew the face until my way became like that. Perhaps I did not distinguish myself from my peers in studying when I entered school except in three things: the Arabic language, especially the subject of construction, the subject of art education, and my literature and discipline. And when I became young, I liked pieces with a white surface. I would try to paint on any piece, even if it was metallic in gouache colors. I did not know oil colors or anything else. I remember that I used these simple colors with metal plates from the remnants of craftsmen, and I would go out to nature To paint what my eyes see, imitating Western artists.
