Here is my picture of Mick Jagger.

I am a retired grammar school teacher from Denmark. One of the blessings of retirement is that I now have time for painting.

I love to do portraits. I have done portraits of a lot of famous people. Mick Jagger is one of my favourites. He is the best rock singer in the world (sorry, John and Paul), and his features are so distinct that he is easy to paint.

I do not especially want to win this competition. I just want some people to see my painting.
