Poor Jim

I am a retired grammar school teacher painting for fun. The painting is called Poor Jim after a popular song in Denmark by the group Gasolin (1974?). The song includes the lines "One day mankind left their cars behind and started wandering across the plains at random". But one man stayed behind in the empty city. And he is the one they call Poor Jim.
The background is painted with a sponge!
