My artistic side is naturally expressed through watercolor

Hi. I'm Cosmina David, an interior architect, with an uninterrupted passion for drawing. Somehow, every artist came on this Earth with a mission: to discover and express that calling from inside. Otherwise, his spirit will die slowly and can't contribute to a better world. Recently, I found that my artistic side is naturally expressed through watercolor. My main interests in art are the topics with a social impact, like communities and families around the old buildings with a traditional architectural style.

The artistic challenge is how to paint a lifestyle storytelling through right proportions, constructions, compositions and good watercolor technique. It's so sad to finally know what to say through your art and can't express it right because your skills are poor. After one year of free self-taught tutorials, I'm aware that I need a serious course and a tutor to guide me if I want a professional level. The Watercolor Academy is the solution that I'm looking for.

Why do I want to win the Watercolor Academy course? Because I can improve my skills, it will help me to make my first charitable auction. The collection will be composed of 12 artworks with kids around neo romanian monuments that are destroyed in my country. This way I bring more awareness in society about these problems and the money will be donated to kids with SMA (spinal muscular atrophy). I thoroughly believe that all fields are interconnected and if they are communicated through art, the result will be gentler and more human.
