I have loved art from my childhood, however I never gave it much thought while studying and got into the engineering profession.

Only recently, I started taking some time away on the weekends to learn drawing and painting. I tried various mediums like pencil, acrylic, charcoal and then watercolor.

I instantly fell in love with the watercolor medium. Watercolor painting has certain magic to it that I could never really feel in other types of painting. While it's not easy to control, nor easy to get the outcome that I desired, the complexity of this medium actually inspired me to practice and learn as much as I can.

I struggle a lot with mixing colors, and controlling the outcome in wet-on-wet strokes.

Watercolor Academy has very detailed topics on the skills that I currently lack and struggle. I can say that I've learnt less than 1% in watercolor and I would definitely need your support and votes to win this competition. This will allow me to improve my skill to such a degree that I will be able to express my thoughts and emotions vividly through the paintings.
