Hi,

My name is Megan Harper and I specialise my art around wildlife and nature, using watercolour. I have had a passion for art since I was a lot younger, leading to studying a university and masters course based around illustration and animation. From there I have used my skills and knowledge to open up my own art business, selling commissions for clients of personalised prints, predominantly using watercolours.

The challenges I face within my art is getting the fine detail with watercolour, as this is such a broad medium that has to be carefully used. I see other artists posting such realistic work and would like to make my work look more like this.

The Watercolor Academy is a great place to learn new skills as a watercolor artist. I would like to improve my skills and learn new techniques, improving my journey as an artist.
