Hello, my name is Melanie. I come from Germany and have been drawing/painting since October 2023. Learning to draw and paint has always been a passion of mine. I've always wanted to be able to creatively express my memories and ideas and touch, inspire, and make other people think. I also want to bring joy and a smile to other people's faces with my paintings. The picture I submitted is called "Angel" and was a gift from me to a wonderful colleague. She is currently going through many draining events, and the angel is meant to give her and her family hope, strength, and love. Everyone has their own angel who looks after them.

Why do I want to develop further? I've experienced a lot of bad things in my life, but I've never lost faith in the good and the beautiful. I want to be able to express my experiences, wishes, and hopes creatively and, in doing so, give so much to other people.

I would be delighted to join the Watercolor Academy. My hope is to develop further and express myself better, so that I can inspire and touch other people with my art. I appreciate every vote I receive and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
