My name is Orbis. I am a queer, disabled artist and musician. I am a multi-disciplinary artist, activist and eclectic artist working on the intersections of identity, technology and performance art. My fascination with the world of esoterica and other art mediums allows me to continually expand their work, with their most recent featured gallery at Enterprise with fourteen different original artworks and illustrations. Challenges I have in art is that, while I went to school for music, I have always wanted to learn art education and deepen my artistic skills and vision. I would like to learn the fundamental knowledge for learning watercolor, techniques for drawing, composition and illustration and how to excel in these aspects of art and illustration and that I feel would enhance overall artistic qualities and all I pursue.
The Watercolor Academy is incredibly unique in that they are providing masterclass knowledge and support, education and opportunities for artists of all experience levels to create profound and incredible works, with the true skillsets, knowledge and techniques that can benefit all artistic studies and outlets. Voting for me not only helps me but helps me to create art that helps others. From poetry novel with my twin, producing and releasing four ambient-electronic album works in collaboration with Not Yet Remembered Records in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to publishing an oracle deck with illustrations, rosary and jewellery works, any and all votes helps me in aspiring to support queer artists and initiatives as well as personal recovery in accessing education and resources and living with disability.
I am also working on two new comic book releases and other zine illustrative works and feel the Watercolor Academy's knowledge and skills will greatly support this project. For other insights about me as an artist, I love to spend time with my tabby cat Boo, play video games, do beadwork, create rosaries, sew and study film, photography and fashion design in their spare time. I hope to share more news and updates about future contributions, publishing or possible future events featuring these works and the Watercolor Academy greatly helps me do that, so please feel free to vote, share and help share my art.
