The Geisha Girl

My name is Laura Maudsley. My watercolour artwork is called The Geisha Girl. About 15 years ago I decided to go to art classes as I have always enjoyed art and it is something that I wanted to revisit. As a result of attending these classes I realize that I have a passion for art. I have found that sketching is the most difficult part of my art, but with more practice and perseverance I will hopefully get better.

Due to my busy schedule I cannot attend some art classes so having the Watercolor Academy on line allows people like myself to still learn and continue with their passion.

If I did win, I believe that the Watercolor Academy can help to improve myself as an artist.

Hopefully people will see my artwork and vote for me because they see potential in me as an artist.
