Watercolor is a dance

I look at the paper. White. Silent. Waiting. And I wait too. A moment, a hesitation, a thought that hasn't settled yet. Then comes the water. The first touch of color spreads, searching for its path, changing its shape. Sometimes it listens, other times it does whatever it wants. And maybe that's exactly what fascinates me the most—that every time, watercolor is a dance you learn step by step, but never completely.

It started as a game, but it pulled me in. And it took me further than I ever imagined. Now I'm here, trying to tame it, to understand it, to understand myself through it. I've discovered that watercolor isn't just about technique—it's about patience, about learning how to lose control without losing beauty.

Watercolor Academy gives me the hope that, one day, I'll learn to dance with water without fearing it will betray me. That I'll manage to let it be what it wants to be, without giving up on what I want. That we'll reach a kind of pact—me and the watercolor, the color and the paper, the unpredictable and the intention.
