My name is Tayabah, and I am an aspiring artist focused on drawing and painting, with a growing passion for watercolour. Art plays an important role in my life. It is how I express emotions and reflect on personal experiences. When words are not enough, creating art helps me understand myself and the world around me.

One of my biggest challenges is my lack of technical skill, especially in watercolour. I often have clear ideas and strong emotions I want to express, but I don't yet have the control or knowledge to bring them fully to life. Watercolour, in particular, feels both exciting and difficult, as it requires patience, precision, and understanding of techniques that I am still learning.

What I want most is to learn traditional and classical techniques, especially how to handle watercolour with confidence - understanding washes, layering, light, and composition. I want to build a strong foundation that will allow me to express my ideas more clearly and create work that feels complete and meaningful.

I admire the Watercolor Academy for its dedication to teaching real artistic skills and techniques. The level of knowledge and structure it offers is exactly what I am looking for as a beginner who is serious about improving and growing.

Winning this course would mean a great deal to me. It would give me the opportunity to learn properly, to develop discipline, and to gain the guidance I need to move forward in my artistic journey. I see it as a turning point that could help me unlock my potential.
