I am a medical doctor, and I paint and sketch in my spare time. I want to spend more time in the future doing art. Now I am doing this for about five years and can see a big improvement in my paintings.

I find Watercolor Academy very helpful. In this course, I can study when time permits. I want to learn how to paint with watercolors whatever I imagine to illustrate my thoughts and ideas. That is why I took this course. I want to be able to sketch with confidence. I paint landscapes and seascapes. I also want to master painting sky and water.

When I saw a video where Vladimir London paints sky in watercolor, I immediately wanted to learn what he teaches.

I'm only the half-way though the video lessons, learning different watercolor painting techniques. To me, every video I watch is an eye-opener. The only way I knew how to paint sky was to take some paint and put it on paper. I didn't imagine that there are different ways to paint sky. Before watching this course lessons, I had no idea about wet on dry variegated wash, dry-brush on moist, gradated wash, or wet on dry and wet on wet glazings. This terminology wasn't even familiar to me. Needless to say that without this knowledge there was no way to use it.

I'm sure that the second part of this course, where tutors show how to paint still-life, animals, portraits and figures, will be as much informative and educational as the first part about the color theory and various watercolor painting methods and techniques.

I'm very thankful to Vladimir and his Team for teaching me how to paint in watercolor.
